A judge has thrown out a VVT lawsuit for Mazdas with L-Series engines.

Mazda is recalling 375,000 cars with Takata airbag inflators. For some of the affected cars, this is the second recall go-round. You know, in case the first time wasn't enough fun.

Takata's defective inflators have been found to explode with too much force, sending metal shrapnel flying throughout the cabin. It's a dangerous problem that's been linked to a number of deaths and injuries.

Unfortunately parts aren't expected to be available until later this year.
