Mazda Extends Warranty on Their Melting Dashboards
Mazda is extending the warranty on their shiny, melting dashboards. If there is prolonged exposure and deterioration, the crash pad could develop a sticky surface.
Once this happens, you need to get the dash replaced. The extended warranty means you'll have more time – 10 years with no mileage limitation.
The offer applies to:
- 2009-2013 Mazda6 vehicles built February 4, 2008 through August 24, 2012.
- 2010 Mazda3 vehicles built October 7, 2008 through April 28, 2010.
Mazda notes the offer "does not apply to crash pads that are discolored, warped, or split."
